Endodontics is a branch of Dentistry that focuses on the treatment of root canal, the dental pulp and its surrounding tissues.
The dental pulp, located inside the tooth, comprises nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue.
When decay occurs it causes infection or inflammation of the pulp. This is when an endodontic treatment becomes necessary. The procedure is referred to as a root canal treatment, which includes removal of the affected pulp, cleaning and shaping of the root canals, and then sealing of the tooth to prevent additional infection.
Our endodontic treatments focus on saving and preserving your natural teeth.
